ARwall leveraged in-camera XR technology to seamlessly blend live-action footage with virtual environments, creating dynamic and immersive battle scenes for the Crossfire Sierra Squad Live Action Trailer. Using the game assets themselves, our team executed both the virtual and physical production.

By using ARwall's ARFX technology instead of traditional green screen VFX, the production of Nightflyers achieved significant cost savings of 62-73%, amounting to $273,000 to $446,000 per episode.
We’re most well known for our Emmy-winning work for Disney on Muppets Haunted Mansion (directed by Kirk Thatcher, available to stream on Disney+), which was about 70% virtual sets. Shot in Burbank on a 20x12ft main wall, with ceiling LED screen, and 4 side LED walls. The creation was dubbed The Cuboid (https://youtu.be/Yy6_Gmda628?si=cLo6Z1Z6U9eSuXQ- ).
In addition, please view our behind the scenes video for Tales from the Explorer’s Club (directed by Lee Farber, available to stream on Max) and the behind the scenes video for the Sony PSVR2 Crossfire Sierra Squad Live Action Trailer (available to view here: https://youtu.be/P9wF1oLThjY?si=sbpbzN4QTp-Y7XrW)
We’ve completed over 120 deployments of in-camera XR virtual production with LED volumes, and have some of the most experienced Virtual Production Supervisors in the world on staff. Whatever the issue, we’ve dealt with it before and have developed processes to ensure both schedule and quality are prioritized as if it were our own production. In addition, we’ve developed our own suite of plugins and software that has proven to speed up the process by at least 50% by creating a seamless workflow between previs, rehearsal, and shoot. On-set, the software also allows a single operator to recall presets established during the entire creation process in a non-destructive fashion, slicing minutes or hours off of each camera setup.
We quote a 1 week minimum per scene for film/TV work. The upward cost depends on the complexity of the scene’s animation demands.. Most environments being assigned a dedicated artist supervised by a Virtual Art Director who maintains the project’s vision across all scenes. On all projects, a project manager or Virtual Production Supervisor with deep experience in this type of deployment will also ensure completion within the creative vision.
During the virtual set design process, we’ll generate both image and video renders of the scene, work remotely or in-person to iterate out options for the filmmakers during pre-production and on set, and previs as needed to ensure everything is locked before the shoot.
We have a number of Partner stages in Los Angeles and internationally that we work with to maintain their XR stage operations, and we have a flagship stage in Burbank. However, a good portion of our involves serving as VP Dept heads that pop up anywhere internationally to negotiate all stage and staff contracts on behalf of the producer and manage all VP related tasks through post-production.
Yes. We specialize in unique and never-before-done engineering solutions, with some of the most experienced VP engineers in the world calling ARwall home. We’ve developed our own line of award-winning software plugins and solutions, ARFX, that can integrate with nearly any peripheral.
All client data is hidden behind a corporate-managed 2FA intranet with device management, ensuring no data leaks in the event a device is lost or stolen, with our IT team having control over all cloud and device data at all times, and strict account management that goes through multiple verification methods. In addition, insurance requirements make physical security behind two locks mandatory, so all data has a building lock and a secondary room or server lock.
