ARwall’s Glowcraft Films partners with Cantina Creative co-founder on epic new series, “Centaur”

Sean Cushing, co-founder of visual effects company Cantina Creative, has signed a co-production deal with Glowcraft Films, which will leverage parent company ARwall’s advanced virtual production (VP) tools and techniques to create multiple digital locations for the action series

LOS ANGELES – TBD, 2025    ARwall, the award-winning XR/AI technology company and leader in virtual production (VP) tools and services, has announced a partnership with Sean Cushing—co-founder of visual effects company Cantina Creative—to co-produce Cushing’s television series, “Centaur.” Co-written by Cushing and Jonah Steinhart, the action series is set in the year 2052, requiring locations spanning both the globe and the Milky Way. Experienced creatives, Cushing and Steinhart also currently have the feature film “Leisure Titans” in development with Balcony 9.

“We’re excited to announce that Glowcraft Films has formalized a partnership to bring the world of ‘Centaur’ to life,” said Rene Amador, Glowcraft Co-Founder/Executive Producer and ARwall CEO. “Its requirements for far-flung locations and spectacular futuristic outer space set pieces makes best use of ARwall’s virtual production technology. The project will leverage our XR and AI tools to explore vast character journeys that previously would have been too expensive to produce.”

Fittingly, Cushing and Steinhart envision “Centaur” on a monumental scale. It’s 2052 and massive climate change has transformed the planet. Superstorms and droughts have wreaked havoc on the financial markets and destroyed trillions in wealth. Famine has displaced over a billion people. A legendary private military contractor sworn to guard the West’s border walls must combat a malevolent entity determined to survive at the expense of humanity. That evil threatens to destroy what civil order remains on earth, and forces him to tackle a long-deferred crisis of conscience.

“This television series has been created specifically with ARwall’s technology in mind,” added Cushing. “Vast landscapes, storylines on the moon and Mars, a transformed earth due to climate change-- this series utilizes ARwall’s tools to depict a storytelling scope only possible with this technology.

“Partnering with ARwall enables us to marry high-quality visual effects and virtual environments with an efficient production pipeline to do significant world building on a scale that would have been prohibitively expensive in a traditional visual effects pipeline,” Cushing concluded. “There’s high demand for this genre, especially when done right, and by meshing our vision, Glowcraft’s creativity and ARwall’s tools ‘Centaur’ will usher in a new methodology for creating content.
